"I was so wrong"

I was totally duped.

The phoenix association only pretend to help Barton United in reality it is just their cover for acting as a charity and having a bar for the old boys of Headington.

They done a deal with Barton Oxford LLP and basically lost most of the children's playing fields to get what they thought would be a modern pitch for there Headington Amateurs team.

The pitch isn't maintained at all and the pavilion is hardly used during the week and off season.

After decades of help and cheap leases they still have no money.

Barton United runs itself. I am not sure what the phoenix association does other than one mens football team that has no chance of going up because of a lack of facilities..
